To provide information to Council regarding a proposal to add the name “Syd Ottewell” to the Commemorative Names Registry.

Further to the February 25, 2020 discussion with Council, this report proposes a decision matrix for Administration to extend invites to elected officials from other municipalities to the municipal association conferences hosted by Rural Municipalities of Alberta and Alberta Urban Municipalities Association.

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first and second readings of a bylaw that proposes to amend Land Use Bylaw 6-2015 to rezone 3.58 hectares (8.84 acres) in the NE 12-53-23-W4 in accordance with the Summerwood Area Structure Plan (ASP).

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first reading of Bylaw 2-2020, a bylaw that proposes to amend Land Use Bylaw 6-2015 to address the creation of a new zoning district for Centre in the Park (CITP).

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first reading of Bylaw 3-2020 that proposes to amend Municipal Development Plan (MDP) Bylaw 20-2017 to re-designate Plan 6133MC, Lot A from the Commercial Policy Area to the Urban Centre Policy Area.

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first, second and third reading of a bylaw that proposes to amend Land Use Bylaw 6-2015 to: 1. Create a new PRM – Public Recreation Major zoning district to enable the consideration of large-scale multi-use facilities on public property that serve the municipality and the region; and 2. Rezone approximately 108.17 hectares (267.30 acres) in NE 30-53-22-W4, Part of NW 30-53-22-W4 and Part of SE 31-53-22-W4 from AG – Agriculture: General and PR Recreation to PRM – Public Recreation Major and PC – Conservation, to facilitate an environmental reserve lot as well as consideration of a multi-purpose agricultural facility.
