Bylaw 3-2018 – Text Amendment to Salisbury Village Area Structure Plan Bylaw 51-2015 (Ward 3)

To provide information to Council to make a decision on a bylaw that proposes to amend the text of the Salisbury Village Area Structure Plan (ASP) Bylaw 51-2015, as amended, by removing specific references to zoning districts for low-density residential development in Phase 2, Stage 3.

Bylaw 1-2018 Map Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 6-2015 (Ward 3)

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first and second readings of a bylaw that proposes to rezone approximately 3.34 hectares (8.25 acres) in Lot 1, Block 9, Plan 162 0919 from PS Public Services to R1A - Single Detached Residential A, R1C - Single Detached Residential C, PR - Recreation and PU - Public Utilities.

Removal of Reserve Designation (Ward 6)

To authorize the removal of reserve designation from Strathcona County reserve lands identified by Alberta Transportation needed to facilitate intersection improvements at Range Road 232 and Highway 628 and Range Road 231 and Highway 628.

Bylaw 68-2017 Text Amendments to Land Use Bylaw 6-2015

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first, second and third readings of a bylaw that proposes to add a definition for “cannabis production facility” to the Land Use Bylaw, as well as to add “cannabis production facility” to the list of discretionary uses in the IM – Medium Industrial Zoning District. Other definitions will be amended to clarify that they do not include a “cannabis production facility”.

Sewer and Wastewater System Bylaw 38-2017 (Replaces Bylaw 31-2011)

To give three readings to a bylaw that establishes terms for providing a sewer and wastewater system, including conditions for treatment and disposal of sewage, and repeals and replaces Bylaw 31-2011.

RECREATION PARKS AND CULTURE

12.1

Letters of Support – Strathcona County Heritage Foundation and Sherwood Park Curling Club

To request Council’s endorsement for letters of support for the Strathcona County Heritage Foundation Museum’s Community Initiatives Program Grant Application and the Sherwood Park Curling Club’s Community Facility Enhancement Program’s Grant Application, and to request Council’s approval for the Mayor to sign future similar letters of support.

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

13.1

Salisbury Village Park Naming (Ward 3)

To provide information to Council regarding a proposed park name within Salisbury Village.

13.2

Summerwood North Road Naming (Ward 4)

To provide information to Council regarding a proposed road name within Summerwood North.

13.3

Bylaw 62-2017 Map Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 6-2015 (Ward 6)

To provide information to Council to make a decision on third reading of a bylaw that proposes to rezone approximately 21.58 hectares (53.33 acres) from AG – Agriculture: General to RS – Small Holdings and PC – Conservation to support subdivision of the parcel to create four rural residential parcels, one municipal reserve parcel and two environmental reserve parcels in accordance with the adopted Conceptual Scheme for the SE 23-51-23-W4.

Wireless Communication Facility – Industry Canada (Ward 7)

To request authorization from Council to send a letter of support to Industry Canada for a proposed Wireless Communication Facility (Internet/ VoIP Tower).
