Due Diligence Study on Final Multi-Purpose Agricultural Facility Design

To provide Council with an update on the current status of the COVID-19 relaunch and other related matters.

To provide a report on the employee engagement survey results factors and causes, the analysis undertaken, the rationale for the priorities chosen, and an update on the actions taken.

To seek Council approval on the appointment of the external auditor for the year ending December 31, 2020.

To seek three readings of Bylaw 44-2020, a bylaw to amend Bylaw 17-2020, A Bylaw to Address Procedural Changes as a Result of the Response to Covid-19 Pandemic.

To provide the Strathcona County 2019 Annual Report to Council for information.

To amend the 2020 Capital Budget to design and construct the Winfield Heights – Rural Water Service.

To seek Council approval on three readings of Bylaw 36-2020 and Bylaw 37-2020, that authorize the design and construction of the Winfield Heights low-pressure trickle system through a local improvement tax levy financed by debenture borrowing.

To provide an update to Council regarding an upcoming proposal to amend the Land Use Bylaw to address Seasonal Recreational Resorts (SRR) within the Beaver Hills Policy Area (BHPA) of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) Bylaw 20-2017.

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first, second and third reading of a bylaw that proposes to add a new zoning district, R1D – Single Detached Residential D Zoning District. This district would enable single detached dwellings with front attached garages to be built to one side property line on lots that do not have access to a lane.

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first and second readings of a bylaw that proposes to amend Land Use Bylaw 6-2015 to allow for the rezoning of 4.38 hectares (10.84 acres) in the NE 12-53-23-W4 in accordance with the Summerwood Area Structure Plan (ASP).

To provide information to Council to make a decision on first, second and third readings of a bylaw that proposes to amend the text of Land Use Bylaw (LUB) 6-2015 to add new Direct Control District 86 and subsequently rezone a portion of the SW 32-51-22-W4 consisting of approximately 6.94 hectares (17.14 acres) from AG – Agriculture: General to DC 86 – Direct Control District 86 to facilitate outdoor storage that includes a logistics and staging site for over dimensional and overweight vehicles.
