To consider a request to provide a letter of support for the bid by Calgary, Edmonton, Enoch Cree Nation and the Tsuut’ina First Nation to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games in Alberta.

To present the Strathcona County Consolidated Financial Statements for the Year Ended December 31, 2022 for approval and the Audit Results for the year ended December 31, 2022.

To amend the 2022 Capital Budget to increase the cost of the Lakeland Village Creek Erosion Mitigation project due to increased costs from emergent response and unforeseen site conditions.

To bring forward an Asset Management Policy for Council to review and approve, which will define our commitment, definitions, and responsibilities respective to Asset Management.

To establish a bylaw to prohibit any other person from providing the same or a similar utility service as the franchisee (Properties of Northern Bear Inc. and Touchwood Holdings Ltd.) in that portion of Strathcona County which is generally depicted in Schedule “B” attached to this bylaw, and to approve the proposed Franchise Agreement for submission to the Alberta Utilities Commission.

To request a time extension to prepare proposed Land Use Bylaw amendments that implement red tape reduction measures for separating garden suites into urban and rural categories and addressing amenity space.

To provide information to Council to make decisions on first, second and third readings of a proposed bylaw that: a) amends Land Use Bylaw 6-2015 by adding proposed MU2 – Salisbury Village Mixed Use 2 zoning district to Part 7: Urban Service Area Zoning Districts; and  b) amends Land Use Bylaw 6-2015 by rezoning approximately 3.15 hectares (7.78 acres) of land within Lot E, Plan 6159KS, Lot 1, Plan 8720616 and Lot 2, Plan 8720616 (Pt. NE 22-52-23-W4) from DC2 – Direct Control district to MU2 – Salisbury Village Mixed Use 2 zoning district. 

To add or remove items from the Councillor Request Report; and to serve Notices of Motion that will be brought forward for debate at a future Council meeting.
