To provide the Priorities Committee with an update on the development of the People Plan.

To provide the Priorities Committee an opportunity to accept an Award of Merit for the Snow Melt Facility.

STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND UPDATES

6.1

Country Residential Sewage Handling

To provide the Priorities Committee with servicing option information regarding private on-site sewage systems and the municipal piped septic tank effluent pumping (STEP) sewage system in the Country Residential Policy Area.

6.2

Municipal Development Plan – school site policies

To report back to Council on a September 5, 2017 motion regarding school sites policies within Municipal Development Plan (MDP) Bylaw 20-2017.

6.3

Strathcona County 2017 Annual Management Report

To present the Strathcona County 2017 Annual (Q4) Management Report.

6.4

Draft 2013-2030 Strategic Plan (Refined)

To seek feedback from the Priorities Committee on the content of the refined, draft 2013-2030 Strategic Plan.

6.5

Smoking Bylaw Update

To seek input from the Priorities Committee on the draft smoking bylaw, prior to presentation at the May 8, 2018 non-statutory public hearing.

6.6

Update on Council Committees on Youth, Seniors, and Accessibility

To provide the Priorities Committee with an update on the development of bylaws to establish new Council Committees to address Youth, Seniors, and Accessibility.
